Seminar in Ethics & Political Philosophy

Launched in October 2009, as part of the proceedings of the Rhetorics of Democracy Project (Spain’s National Research Fund, FFI2008-00039), since 2012 the Seminar in Ethics and Political Philosophy at the University of Málaga became part of the Civic Constellation’s research training activities. Aimed initially at graduate students in philosophy, sessions took in over time undergraduate students as well.

Following a parliamentary-like procedure regarding both the distribution of time and debating rules, the Seminar invites the presentation of advances in ethics and political philosophy, and related fields, from methodological, historical and thematic perspectives. Ahead of their presentations in public sessions, papers or their outlines are distributed to participants.
